Kent Salon Terms and Conditions of Sale

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SALE CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER AND RETAIN A COPY OF THESE TERMS AND YOUR ORDER FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Formation of the contract
1.1. These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by Kent Salon LLP Company number OC360755 Registered office address London Road, Hemel Hempstead HP3 9SA t/a Kent Salon. At the time that you the customer orders goods you will be asked to indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1.2. No contract exists between you and Kent Salon for the sale of any goods until Kent Salon has received and accepted your order and has sent you confirmation in writing or by email to the address or email address you have given. Once Kent Salon does so, there is a binding legal contract between us. Please note that in addition to any other right Kent Salon may have to decline your order, eg when the item is out of stock or otherwise unavailable, Kent Salon may in its sole discretion, decline your order when it believes on reasonable grounds that your purchase is likely to lead to infringement of Kent Salon’s rights by, for example, the onward supply of our products to third parties outside the United Kingdom.

1.3 Kent Salon operates a ‘sell to trade’ only policy. Goods are sold only on the understanding that they are to be used for the product’s intended purpose by a suitably qualified person. Kent Salon will accept no responsibility if the goods are incorrectly used and consequently caused any kind of harm or damage. Kent Salon reserves the right to refuse a customer if they are not considered to be a professional salon business. Nothing in Terms and Conditions of Sale excludes the liability of Kent Salon:
(a) for death or personal injury caused by Kent Salon’s negligence; or
(b) for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by Kent Salon
Subject to 1.3 above, Kent Salon’s liability is limited to the Warranty set out at 6.1 below.

1.4. Kent Salon may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.

Description and price of the goods
2.1. The descriptions and the current price of the goods you order will be as shown www.kentsalon.co.uk at the time you place your order.

2.2. The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, Kent Salon will inform you as soon as possible, and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

2.3 Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on www.kentsalon.co.uk are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, Kent Salon will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel, Kent Salon will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

2.4. In addition to the price of product/s, unless your purchase is exempt, you will be required to pay a delivery charge for the goods, as explained in the section of Kent Salons website concerning delivery. Please see our shipping and delivery page www.kentsalon.co.uk/pages/shipping-and-delivery

2.5. All prices will be shown ex-VAT and UK VAT will be added at the checkout. For international orders, please visit www.kentsalon.co.uk/pages/international-orders. A handling charge detailed at 3.2 below will be added.
2.6 Any amendments must be made by 1 pm the next working day.
Amendments cannot be made once the package is in transit, you must notify Kent Salon as soon as possible via email hello@kentsalon.com. The parcel should be rejected upon delivery or returned unused in its original packaging; the refund will be issued upon return of the goods.

Payment
3.1. All prices are shown in sterling (GBP). If you are purchasing from our website, all payment transactions will be made in sterling (GBP).

3.2. A 4% handling fee will be added to all orders placed at www.kentsalon.co.uk

3.3. Payment for the goods and delivery charges can be made by any method shown at www.kentsalon.co.uk at the time you place your order.

3.4 Kent Salon may in its sole discretion, decline your order when it believes on reasonable grounds that your shipping address is a freight forwarding address or storage company.

Delivery
4.1. The goods you order will be delivered to the delivery address you specify when you place your order.

4.2. All orders placed via www.kentsalon.co.uk will be sent via Royal Mail or APC tracked delivery. If delivery cannot be made to your address, Royal Mail/APC will inform you as soon as possible by email or text and will leave a calling card at the address.

4.3. Every effort will be made to deliver the goods without undue delay, and in any event within 30 days of the date on which the contract is entered into. However, Kent Salon will not be liable for any delay in delivery caused by circumstances beyond Kent Salon’s reasonable control. If you have not received your order within 30 days, please contact and advise us.

4.4. You will become the owner of the goods you ordered and responsible for the risk of loss or of damage to them once they have been delivered to you.

Your right of cancellation
5.1. For micro businesses you may have the right to cancel the contract. Please refer to Kent Brushes Terms & Conditions.

Warranty
6.1. Kent Salon’s warranty applies exclusively to product that has been purchased from the Kent Salon Website, authorised Kent Salon retailers or web-based vendors. The product must have been used and cared for in accordance with our manufacturer’s care instructions.
Please note this warranty does not apply to any faults in our products arising from fair wear and tear, damage by you, use otherwise than as recommended by us, failure to follow our care instructions or any alteration or repair carried without our approval.

7.2. Kent Salon will only use the information you provide about yourself for the purpose of fulfilling your order unless you agree otherwise. Kent Salon would like to notify you of products and offers that may be of interest to you from time to time, and if you would like to be notified of these, please tick the box at checkout or use the sign up to our Newsletter form at www.kentsalon.co.uk. You can correct any information about you by editing your account details online or asking for information about you to be deleted by email or post see contact details in section 5.5.

Applicable Law
These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to English Law, and the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
